Extremely Low Friction Coefficient
UHMWPE boasts a static friction coefficient of just 0.07, paired with excellent self-lubricating properties. These traits make it an ideal material for bearings, bushings, sliders, and linings. For example, chemical hoses and food-grade hoses often use UHMWPE as their lining. When integrated as a friction component in equipment, UHMWPE not only extends wear-resistant lifespan but also delivers energy-saving benefits.

Exceptional Impact Resistance
Among plastics, UHMWPE ranks first in impact resistance. It remains uncracked under strong external impacts or high internal pressure, with an impact strength 10 times that of nylon 66, 20 times that of PVC, and 8 times that of PTFE. Its impact strength peaks in low-temperature conditions, while its flexibility ensures safe and reliable system protection.
Superior Anti-Aging Performance
UHMWPE offers stable performance and outstanding anti-aging capabilities. Whether installed above ground or underground, it can last over 50 years. Tested via the ASTM method (load 4.6kg/cm²), its heat distortion temperature is 85°C. While the working temperature reaches 90°C, even higher in special cases. In addition, UHMWPE’s excellent toughness and low-temperature resistance allow it to retain ductility at -269°C without brittleness.

Reliable Electrical Properties
UHMWPE features high volume resistance, a breakdown voltage of 50 kV/mm, and a dielectric constant of 2.3. These attributes make it suitable as a structural material in electrical projects across a wide temperature and frequency range.
Hygienic and Non-Toxic Nature
UHMWPE is non-toxic, odorless, and non-corrosive. Thus it is a top choice for food-grade hoses and applications requiring strict hygiene standards.
