Attack hose is a layflat hose specifically designed for firefighting and forest fire prevention. Generally, we think of this kind of fire hose only for firefighting purposes. But this is just its common use. Now, let me introduce some less – common uses of this firefighting hose.
Some Unusual Uses of Attack Hose
Protect hazardous chemicals tank trucks during lifting.
Transfer the leakage points of hazardous chemicals.
Serve as the air supply pipeline for anoxic spaces.
Assist in floor escape and self – rescue.

Precautions for Using Attack Hose
First, when attaching the hose to the interface, place a layer of soft protection. Then, secure the layflat fire hose tightly with galvanized iron wire or a hose hoop.
Second, protect the hose from direct flame and radiant heat. So, make sure the water fire hose doesn’t come into contact with high-temperature objects.
Third, be cautious to prevent the hose from contacting corrosive chemicals like oil, acid, and alkali.
Fourth, when laying the hose, avoid sharp objects and various oils. When laying the hose vertically to a high place, use a hose hook. When laying the hose across main traffic roads, use a bridge for protection. If the rubber fire hose needs to cross a railway, lay it under the track. This way, we can prevent the fire hose from being crushed and avoid interrupting the water supply.
Fifth, after filling the hose with water, don’t drag it forcefully on the ground. Instead, lift and move it to reduce wear and tear between the hose and the ground.
Finally, if you find a small hole during use, wrap it tightly with layflat hose wrapping cloth. In severe winter, run the hose at a slow speed to maintain a small water output. This is because cold weather can cause the hose to freeze.
